New figures of buxom beauties Ivy, Morrigan coming Fall 2008

by Janine Dong on Jul 19, 2008 at 11:36 AM

Making the bounding leap from screen to shelf, Soul Calibur 3‘s Ivy and Darkstalkers’ Morrigan are being produced as fine quality PVC models of their polygonal counterparts. For such perfection, however, buyers should not only be willing to sell their souls to these sirens, but also relinquish some seriously hard earned moolah.

With a tentative release date of October 10, 2008, Ms. Ivy Valentine of Soul Calibur 3 can be yours to keep at the fine asking price of $120. Enterbrain’s model of Ivy measures in at about 11.7 inches worth of PVC goodness and weighs at about 3.1lbs. Now, many fans will be familiar with Ms. Ivy’s pattern to remove more and more of her clothes as the sequels persist.  Alas, you needn’t worry about that being the case with this figure. Completely clad in pure and holy white, her assets are fully covered for all ages to enjoy and she comes complete with a finishing touch of gloss to make her muscular thighs gleam in the spotlight.

The next beauty here who is currently available for pre-ordering is Pop Culture Shock‘s Morrigan Aensland of Darkstalkers/Night Warriors notoriety. She doesn’t have an exact date of release, but word on the street says that she’ll be available during the 4th quarter of 2008. Morrigan towers at a whole 16.5 inches tall it’s no wonder she costs more than twice as much as the aforementioned Ivy. Not only that, she also comes in two versions enticing only the hardest of the hardcore to buy both. The standard version of Morrigan features her with light blue hair and is limited to a production line of 400 pieces worldwide. The EX version features a green-haired Morrigan in an alternate pose with her bat friend perched on her fingertips and will be limited to only 200 pieces worldwide. Be glad to know that both versions hold the same price tag of $275 and come complete with real synthetic fur trimmings on her bodice.

As both of these lovely ladies won’t be unleashed upon the mortal world for quite a few months, the penny pinchers still have time to pinch their pennies. However, the smart ones know to take advantage of pre-ordering to ensure these figures make it to your shelves/desktop/bedside/car dashboard.
