New DLC coming to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Star Wars: The force unleashed Luke Skywalker
Still making you way through Star Wars: The Force Unleashed? Or have you thrust it aside in favor of something shiny and new? Well, LucasArts has revealed some sweet-sounding downloadable content for their force-powered action title, including a new level and new characters to pummel bad guys with.

1Up is reporting that the new stage will take place at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, and was one of about eight stages cut from the game. The level will reportedly be a place where “The Apprentice” will go to learn more about his father, and will be somewhere between the Raxis Prime and Cloud City levels in size. New characters include old trilogy favorites and newer characters alike, including Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ki-Adi-Mund, and Kit Fisto.

Excited yet? Well the pricing hasn’t been announced yet, and the DLC will only be available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions (as expected). Still, it sounds like a cool way of keeping the flawed (yet oh-so-fun) title relevant for a little while longer.
