Namco Bandai is going to be releasing yet another game in the Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop series. Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 3 has been announced for the Nintendo DS, and should be available before the end of Q2 2008. Like the other titles in the series, a player will pick a Tamagotchi character to run businesses with, and will then use the touch screen to accomplish each shop’s mini-game while the Tamagotchi partner greets customers.

Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 3 is the most expansive title in the series so far. For the first time four different Tamagotchi characters can be picked as a partner. the green blob Kuchipatchi, the bunny guy Mametchi and curly haired girl Memetchi are joined by Violetchi, a pink glob with flower ears. More shops are also included in this latest entry, with 13 different stores that players can run.

There are also two new changes made to the game. Rather than having a room to decorate for your Tamagotchi partner, you decorate a public park. The park changes and more visitors arrive if your entrepreneurial endeavors are successful. This entry is also compatible with the Nintendo WiFi Connection, and items can be shared with other players online.
