After all, Captain Olimar and his merry band of adorable plant-things haven’t been trotted out nearly as many times as Mario or Link, and the titles thus far (there were two gamecube Pikmins) have been a refreshing mix of puzzle-strategy and lush visuals. Then again, the new Zelda has been rumored to be a complete reinvention of the series (something I think has become quite necessary at this point). Real details remain scant, but the games are a fairly safe bet - when has Miyamoto ever dropped the ball on a core franchise?
