Miss Bimbo removes diet pills and issues apologies
A new message filled with apologies is displayed to people who visit the controversial Miss Bimbo site. The Miss Bimbo creators have an official apology for the recent difficulties many users have had in accessing the site and playing the game. They also have removed diet pills from the game, stating that the media attention has caused them to reconsider that in-game option, and apologizes to the users for the removal of this feature. Finally, they apologize to users for various media outlets comparing the game to the socialite Paris Hilton, making mention of the users who choose to make their bimbos into classy ladies. There is a button after the apology that you can click to state you have read it, and then the site returns to its normal programming.
As you may remember, Gamertell reported earlier that the Miss Bimbo game was getting quite a bit of media attention for the use of plastic surgery, diet pills and other unsavory means to create the ultimate, most popular, bimbo diva. Many parent groups and media outlets are causing quite an uproar about the game.
I finally had the chance to register and create an account at Miss Bimbo, and I have to say that all of this controversy is caused by a few choice elements. Most of these stories ignore the fact that these virtual bimbos can also take classes to better themselves, attend college, It is a virtual pet game that is very focused on images and appearances, but it isn’t going to do any more damage to little girls than Barbie or Bratz dolls. Yes, there is plastic surgery and there were diet pills, but they aren’t forced on you. Parents just need to be involved in their kids’ lives and monitor their online activities.

Well, sometimes if a game has a controversial aspect, people and the media are eager to overlook the good and focus on the one possible negative. You do make some good points though.
on April 11, 2008 at 01:50 PM - LINKHi,I don’t understand why somebody tell that Miss Bimbo is bad or stupid because of breast surgery or face lift, please, look at famous people, they live in real world not in virtual and have breast implants and a lot of face lifts. So,please shut your mouths and when you think about this game tell something. This game isn’t stupid,it’ s just like an other game for girls.Maybe that game ,,sends’’ wrong information to children, but they aren’t so confined to live life like bimbos because it’s normal in this world…:D
on January 4, 2009 at 03:21 PM - LINKIt’s more confined watching soap operas and some other stupid TV programmes then play this game…
I find that the site has some good and bad aspects, but overall it’s pretty fun to play, as long as you know what your kids are getting into, and how easily influenced they are.
If you’re a grown-up who’ likes that kind of thing, it’s pretty fun for you.
