If you love Mega Man and you have a BREW or Java mobile phone, then there’s a new adventure out for you to play. Capcom released Mega Man: Rush Marine on December 7, 2009. As you can guess from the title, the whole game takes place in underwater, with Mega Man fighting villains while traveling in Rush the robot dog’s submarine form.
As you can probably guess, Dr. Wily has once againd decided to release menacing robots on the world. So, as Mega Man and Rush, you must head out and save the day. This time, Dr. Wily’s greed and lust for money has lead him to scour and destroy seabeds to get oil. His actions have consequences though, and the drilling is hurting the environment and causing trouble for people living on land Mega Man and Rush have to survive 10 levels with robot master bosses, and 14 different kinds of enemies.
AT&T and Verizon Wireless both offer Mega Man: Rush Marine to their subscribers. If you’re with AT&T, the game will cost $6.99. If you’re with Verizon, you can either choose a $3.49 monthly play plan or pay $7.99 for unlimited play. Check with your respective carriers to make sure your phone can play the game.
Capcom also announced that Blackberry and Windows Mobile versions of Mega Man: Rush Marine are in development. A specific release date hasn’t been set, but the company has stated it should be out in the beginning of 2010. Sorry iPhone and iPod Touch users - looks like you may be left out this time. Stay positive! Maybe you’ll see a version of Mega Man: Rush Marine for you in mid to late 2010.
