Mass Effect is a fantastic game with plenty of replay value to begin with, but the first additional content pack will extend the adventure even further. On March 10, 2008 “Bring Down the Sky” will be made available on Xbox Live for 400 points. This additional expansion adds almost two additional hours to the storyline and a new achievement to show off.
In “Bring Down the Sky” a new world, space station and race are introduced. A group of Batarian terrorists has taken over an asteroid station and have altered its course so it will collide with Terra Nova. Players must step in as Commander Shepard to stop the bad Batarians and alter the course of the space station to save the planet and its inhabitants. It sounds massive, but the press release states that the additional quest should be able to be completed in around an hour and a half.
These are the best kind of content packs available. It makes much more sense to add on an additional adventure and new material rather than just a few extra costumes or characters. Plus it’s a reasonable add-on as well. This pack will be a great investment for Mass Effect owners.
