Bioware has announced the release date for epic galaxy-spanning RPG Mass Effect – November 20, 2007. That means that gamers have about twelve weeks to wait for the hotly anticipated (and oft-delayed) title. The Xbox 360 DVD game will have an estimated retail of $59.99 and carries an ESRB rating of “M” for mature.
Mass Effect is a sci-fi action RPG developed by Bioware (who were behind the excellent Xbox RPGs Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic and Jade Empire). The gaming press has been all over the game, praising its excellent graphics, epic scope, and new gameplay elements (mixing shooting and other action elements in with the RPG world).
Between Bioshock, Halo 3, and now Mass Effect, 360 gamers have quite a nice lineup on which to feast this fall. Unless they’ve been red-ringed, that is.
