Drama often isn’t considered to be a good thing. Well, dramatic movies/television shows/books perhaps, but drama in real life is another story. Majesco is going to attempt to make drama fun though, with a new DS game in Spring 2009 called Drama Queens. I bet you already know the target audience, without even hearing another detail about the game.

Drama Queens is a board game/simulation where you go through a girl’s life, trying to become the most successful, powerful and popular. Sounds a bit like high school to me. Its a four player game, where you go through trying to make friends, find boyfriends, get new outfits and get promotions at your job. All this takes place either at the mall, fashion runway or a dance club.

I know it is horrible, wrong and quite embarrassing, but I think I might want this game. Don’t look at me like that - no judging! The Game of Life board game was always one of my favorites, and, despite its negative connotations and incredible girly-ness, Drama Queens seems it is going to be quite similar to that. My inner child is probably going to stage a serious tantrum if I don’t at least try Drama Queens.
