Littlest Pet Shop Spring to join Littlest Pet Shop Garden, Jungle and Winter

Littlest Pet Shop SpringWe already know that EA’s collaboration with Hasbro is paying off. The Littlest Pet Shop DS games have been very popular among its target audience. I guess then, it comes as no surprise that EA is going to be releasing a fourth DS Littest Pet Shop game. Littlest Pet Shop Spring, like the other three games, Littest Pet Shop Garden, Jungle and Winter, will features a specific theme, in-game playsets and exclusive pets. It is going to come out March 3, 2009, and will cost $29.99, just like the other games.

Littlest Pet Shop Spring is going to be a bit more special than the other three entries. For example, there will be more mini-games, so instead of 16, there will be 20. There will also be 20 new animal clothing accessories that weren’t included in the previous three games. Since Spring is set in a different environment/climate, the game will look a bit different and there will be different pets available in the game. Six new pets, if you want to get specific, though what species or breeds have been added haven’t been mentioned yet.

I think, if a child missed out on getting one of the other, previous Littlest Pet Shop DS games, then Littlest Pet Shop Spring is going to be the version to get. After all, it has all the features of Garden, Jungle and Winter, along with more exclusive content.

There is just one thing that is seriously bugging me. What is up with the eyes of the hedgehog on the cover? At least, I think it’s a hedgehog. Is it looking up? Is it trying to gaze back at the person looking at it? I don’t know! I just can’t tell. It’s kind of freaking me out, to be honest. I hope there’s a vet included in the game that can help take care of that - animal’s - issues.
