Were you one of the unlucky Sack boys or girls unable to get an early jump on one of this year’s biggest titles? Well, if you did get into the Little Big Planet beta and were worrying about all those hours poured into your self-created masterpieces of chaos or cheer (aka levels you built), stop worrying.
1UP reports that Alex Evans, Media Molecule co-founder, confirmed at the 2008 Tokyo Game Show that user created beta levels will make the transition into the final game. Alex also mentioned that the guys will be watching the community’s reaction to the news on the LBP blog, which uniformly should be positive a thing.
So if you have been holding off on doing anything significant in your custom levels, you’d better hurry up because the game launches soon (October 21, 2008) and the beta ends sooner (a few days!). What better way to cap off that memoir than saying you made a level that launched with what could possibly be the best game of 2008?
Persona 4 is simply a stunning, engaging and wonderfully crafted RPG with plenty of player interaction, interesting dungeons and a fantastic story. It will easily be the PS2’s swansong.
