Liam Neeson lends voice to Fallout 3

Gamertell Liam Neesom In a move that further testifies to the bond that movies and video games are starting to share, Bethesda has cast Liam Neeson in its upcoming title Fallout 3. Bethesda has made such a move before, in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, it cast Patrick Stewart as the ultimately doomed King of Cyrodiil.

In Fallout 3, Liam Neeson will take a much more popular and long-lived role as the main character’s father and the company stated the following to support his impact in the game:

This role was written with Liam in mind and provides the dramatic tone for the entire game.

To sample some of this actor’s voice work, check out The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe where Liam plays the role of Aslan, a noble lion.

Fallout 3 will be released early 2008 for Xbox 360, PS3 Windows PC.
