For those of you who want to trim their tree with game-themed ornaments, you do have a few more options than the usual Hallmark stuff. A couple companies make cutsie, less recognizable and usually more affordable (and copyright-free) gamer ornaments and, of course, there are always a few at the create-your-own product sites.
I also found a few others available on several online stores (though I found one that offers them all) and likely available in all of this Christmas stores that pop up before the holidays.
There is a resin ornament of a gaming bear (see the image way above) that you can customize so it says something cool, dumb or funny on the screen. I sells for $10.95 to $12.99.
Finally there’s a pair of resin ornaments of a boy sitting with a game controller in his lap, looking pretty happy. Both are wearing a red-and-white polo shirt and a green baseball hat, with the only difference being the skin color. These can also be customized to slap a short name (or gamer tag) on the kid’s chest.
