The site is featuring a series of eight tutorial videos (the first three are up now, with the last five to follow in later October and early November), covering the basics of flash and the basic design of a simple shooter. There’s even a little contest for new flash designers - the best new game (from a first-timer) will net the winner $250, while second and third will get $150 each.
This may be one of the coolest things I’ve read in a while - actual, focused educational tools that won’t cost you a cent and teach basic game design. If you have any interest in flash design (or you just want to gain an appreciation for game mechanics), you owe it to yourself to check this out.
Persona 4 is simply a stunning, engaging and wonderfully crafted RPG with plenty of player interaction, interesting dungeons and a fantastic story. It will easily be the PS2’s swansong.
