Its a bit late for Christmas themed posts, but this World of Warcraft fan-made music video is so good it must be shared. It features characters in the game dressed as Santa, Jack, Oogie Boogie, Lock, Shock and Barrel from The Nightmare Before Christmas and it has them re-enacting the “Kidnap the Sandy Claws” segment of the movie. It is honestly one of the best fan-made music videos I have ever seen.

If you stay through to the credits, it states that all of the video was shot on the Windrunner server and starred the World of Warcraft avatars Java, Linky, Loock, Giric and Nodel. The player behind Linky was responsible for the choreography and finding locations and the player behind Java acted as camera-person and director. Eieling, Fieyloh and Steppe AKA VILLAger also supported and assisted the creators of this video.

A nice touch is a request by the creators at the end of the video asking viewers to support the original owners of the song by buying The Nightmare Before Christmas, getting the soundtrack or legally buying the mp3 of the song.

The video was originally posted by the creators Java, Linky and Giric at WarcraftMovies.com, but made its way to YouTube as all internet phenoms do. At WarcraftMovies.com it has received five stars in the four categories - A/V quality, content, creativity and editing.
