Atari is bringing The Chase: Felix Meets Felicity, a title that may be an enchanting little platformer, to the DS in January, 2009. In a game that sounds a bit like Kirby: Canvas Curse in its execution, players must help either Felix or Felicity make it through an obstacle-filled city in order to make it to a date with the other character on time.

The goal is to try and help the characters navigate the treacherous environments with the stylus. You draw platforms for Felix and Felicity to use to get by obstacles and get past incredibly intrusive bystanders. There will also be various powerups that you can tap and implement to make the journey a little bit easier.

While The Chase: Felix Meets Felicity can sound, and look, a bit feminine, the trailer makes it looks like not only a challenge, but also a lot of fun. I know I’d be willing to give The Chase a try.
