The iPod Nano at the right of this text is what victory looks like. In Japan, a contest began March 21, 2008 that involves the recent Nintendo DS release Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword. On April 16, 2008 15 fortunate Japanese residents can enter to win this Team Ninja pod.
Most of the methods for entering actually involve the game. The two methods of entry which involve the game involve players submitting their best score from playing at a certain level of difficulty or the largest amount of items collected and submitting said number. There is also a survey online which, when taken, acts as an entry into the contest.
It does look pretty sweet. It’d be nice if there was a promotional contest like this surrounding the North American release of Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword. Sure, the pre-order sword stylus is nice, but I’m pretty sure people would prefer iPods. I can already imagine what kind of insane prices this item is going to fetch on online auction sites.
