Borderlands owners aren’t going to be getting bored with the game for a very long time, thanks to the forthcoming “The Secret Armory of General Knoxx” downloadable content expansion. Developer and publisher Gearbox and 2K Games have announced that that PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 DLC is in the works and is going to be giving gamers their money’s worth, if they decide to splurge on it that is.
As expected from a DLC expansion, “The Secret Armory of General Knoxx” will include more of everything Borderlands players could want. there’ll be more missions, with more, new enemies, more equipment and more areas. The announcement also promises that it will be a more challenging expansion, geared towards players who’s characters are between level 34-50 and that the level limit will be raised.
There hasn’t been a price or release date announced. Don’t worry, it’ll probably be out before the end of 2010. You’ll just have to enjoy “The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned” and “Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot” in the meantime.
