Introducing Scrapbook Paige - a scrapbooking themed, hidden object game

Hidden object games certainly are experiencing a renaissance of sorts, with games like Mystery Case Files and Amazing Adventures. Following on the heels of Fashion Apprentice http://www.gamertell.com/gaming/comment/find-hidden-accessories-in-fashion-apprentice/ comes another hidden object game geared towards women - Aisle 5’s Scrapbook Paige. Scrapbook Paige is almost a combination of virtual scrapbooking and hidden object finding, as you have to find items to put in a scrapbook.
As Paige, owner of a scrapbook store and star of Scrapbook Paige, you have to help 15 customers (levels) making scrapbooks. There are 17 different areas of the shop to look through, each with a different theme, to find the perfect items for books. Once you collect them, you set up your customers’ pages. You can also look back through an in-game gallery to look at scrapbooks you helped complete.
Scrapbook Paige is only available for Windows XP and Vista PCs as a direct download through Aisle 5’s site. Aisle 5 offers a free, one hour demo of Scrapbook Paige, which allows you to engage in a little object hunting, and a full version for $19.99. I think I’d have been more likely to play this game if it had been something like Newspaper Paige, and centered around a journalist finding pieces of a story. Aisle 5 does earn some points for the clever title though.
