Reflexive was originally founded in 1997 with the simple aim to “make great games.” Since then, it has released fifteen of its own independent titles in addition to distributing a slew of additional casual games via the Reflexive Arcade, which launched in 2003 alongside Crimsonland.
Brubaker explains in his blog that being acquired by Amazon will allow Reflexive to expand its distribution network to include Amazon’s own distribution channel, something he hopes will “bring a huge new group of customers into play.” He also notes that it’s a particularly exciting time for developers, but says that he “can’t talk about everything yet.”
If you want to see what all the fuss is about, trial versions of each of Reflexive’s games can be downloaded from the Reflexive Arcade, as can a variety of other titles including Peggle Nights, Risk II, Jewel Quest III and Magic Encyclopaedia, to name just a few of the Arcade’s most popular offerings.
