There are numerous ways to find these codes. For example, some can show up in the News section on the Free Realms site. Be sure to check that section before you start playing. Codes have also been known to appear in magazine ads. You can’t always be alert and searching for codes, so it’s good to know places you can go to find codes that are guaranteed to work.
Your first stop should be the Free Realms Insider, a fansite that is devoted to the new game. Besides always discussing the latest Free Realms news, providing a forum for players and offering assistance in learning to use game features or finding new character jobs, the site also has a code directory. When a new code comes up, Free Realms Insider reports it, and includes a picture so you can see what the new item looks like. The site also keeps track of which codes have expiration dates. If you haven’t played in a week or two, this is a great site to visit so you can catch up on free items.
If you’re on Facebook, you can join The Official Free Realms Page. Item codes show up on the page below the “Get the Goods” ad. (Plus, you can see videos and screenshots from the game.)

Once you’ve found a code, it’s incredibly easy to collect your prize.
If the item you claimed is food, you can use it any time you’d like. If it’s clothing, you may need to change your character’s job if you want to wear it. The baseball cap I redeemed above doesn’t show up when I’m in the Brawler job, but does appear when my character is an Adventurer. If you’re having problems finding a new item in your inventory, try changing jobs.
You can also redeem codes when you first log into Free Realms. The opening menu, which offers information on cash shop items and your character, also has a spot at the bottom where a code can be entered and redeemed. I’ve found the process is a bit quicker and easier when completed before entering Free Realms.
