Big Blue Bubble has just announced the sequel to its best-selling game Home Sweet Home - Home Sweet Home 2: Kitchens & Baths. Like the original game, Home Sweet Home 2 asks players to become interior designers to fix up kitchens and bathrooms for clients. This latest entry includes tons of items, 50 levels, new achievements, a new way to build and improved AI. Its for Windows only, and the full version costs $19.95. There’s also a free demo available, in case you want to try it first.
As you may recall, the previous Home Sweet Home game was being developed as a WiiWare http://www.gamertell.com/gaming/comment/make-home-sweet-homes-with-this-wiiware-game/ title. Now that the PC sequel, Home Sweet Home 2 has been announced, we’ll have to wait and see if that receives a Wiiware port as well.
Its funny - last time I wrote about Home Sweet Home, I mentioned how Sims 2 fans may enjoy it, due to the decorating aspect. Now when I look at Home Sweet Home 2, I can’t help noticing the similarity between its subtitle and The Sims 2 Kitchen & Bath Stuff. Ironic.
