Help Atelier Annie use alchemy to build a resort and attract a prince
The Atelier game universe is expanding in North America. NIS America has just announced that it is planning to localize Gust’s DS game Atelier Annie. Siliconera first discovered rumors of the release in the GameFly listings, and now NIS America has confirmed the game release.
Unlike the Atelier Iris series of PS2 games released in America, which feature the whole “save the world” quest with alchemy elements, Atelier Annie is more of a casual simulation game. Instead, players help a lazy young alchemist named Annie generate funds for a resort her grandfather has asked her to build. She does by completing quests for individuals and using alchemy to create items.
It sounds like the sort of game Harvest Moon and Rune Factory fans will enjoy, since you have to traverse monster invested areas, create items to sell, hire workers, develop your area and win the affections of a prince. I know I’m interested.

on July 7, 2009 at 12:09 AM - LINKSo far it looks like Annie just wins the Prince’s heart by building a successful resort.
It sounds REALLY funny. I was looking at Japanese sites for info and it turns out she doesn’t want him because she loves him or anything. She’s just exceptionally lazy and knows if she becomes a princess she’ll be set for life.
