Important Importables
Jenni Lada brings us information about all of the groovy new gaming imports from around the world.

The gameplay aspect sounds a bit like Qix. As Pixie, you fly around the game board, having to avoid bugs while creating vines to claim the area. If you manage to claim the majority of the area, which then turns into a field of mushrooms or flowers, you can go on to the next stage.
There are also two boss battles in Pixie, which would probably be pretty interesting to see. After all, Pixie can really only create vines. Sure, you can purchase bombs, shields or other power-ups for her, but for the most part it sounds like she’s playing defense.
There are versions of Pixie available for the Mac and PC. Unfortunately, I scoured both sites and couldn’t seem to find system requirements stated anywhere. Luckily, there’s a free demo, in addition to the $19.95 full version of the game. So you can download the demo, try it to see if it works on your computer and if you enjoy it, and then go from there.
