Gamook offers a little more info, reassurance

by PJ Hruschak on Mar 24, 2008 at 03:13 PM

gamook logoIn response to my Gamook post from last month (February 14, 2008), one of the company reps responded to my post and offered a bit more information about how to monitor revenue.

Gamook creates (or purchases) Flash-based games that webmasters paste into their sites. The site then accrues earnings based on how often a game is played and the the advertising placed in and around the games. The rep previously indicated that an affiliate earns 30% of the ad revenue generated by each game.

Here’s her email:

Hello PJ,

Hope you’re doing well. I came across your post on the website Gamertell.com about us. I wanted to answer your question regarding “Of course, there isn’t a clear way to monitor that on the webmaster side (as far as I can tell - I’m still waiting to hear back from Gamook).“ Actually, there is a clear way to monitor the amount of revenue you make from the games. In fact, when you sign up for Gamook and add the games onto your site, you can track exactly how much money you make at any given time. You can track in real time how the games are doing on your site. When you let us know your payment preference, we then send you the payment every month, either via PayPal or Check.

You can even add a widget that will let you know the week’s Most Played Games, Most Popular Games, etc. You can even add and remove the games anytime you want; this way you can find the best games that will allow you to make the most money for your site. Please let me know your thoughts and whether you have any questions I can answer. We’re looking forward to working with you!

Looking forward to hearing back from you,
Xxxxxx
