It’s April 5, 2009, and that means that GameStop’s month long, Game Days ‘09 sale has begun. New games and accessories for all systems are discounted and ready to go home with you. As usual, the sale is going on both in-stores and online, so you should have no trouble finding your desired item.

Also, GameStop is still continuing to try and clear out the UMD movies and videos, and there’s a substantial selection of titles available for $4.99 and $9.99 - just like last year. Keep an eye open though, some are cheaper or more expensive than that.

Personally, I was a tad disappointed with this year’s Game Days selection. Last year I ended up getting three or four good games, Odin Sphere among them. This year I walked out with one of those DS Lite duo game cases that had Link on the cover. Well, that and Mana Khemia (PS2), but that game wasn’t part of the sale. Funny thing, last year the Final Fantasy: Advent Children UMD was $4.99, and this year the sale price is $14.99.
