Gamertell E3 2007 Logo Regardless of what you think about the revamped E3, this was still a big yea for announcements. Be it new games, new peripherals, redesigned gear or just updates on the games announced last year, E3 2007 was an exciting potpourri of information.

Below are our takes on a few of the most anticipated things announced at E3 2007.

Gamertell WiiFit Nintendo  Danielle said:

“I’m definitely most excited about Wii Fit and Super Mario Galaxy. Even though I know a lot of people probably think a fitness game is kind of lame, I think it’s a logical and natural extension of Wii sports, and I’d love to see an even more “hardcore” sequel for serious fitness freaks. Galaxy is a no-brainer, it looks amazing and unique. I’m also looking forward to LittleBigPlanet, I think it has enormous potential.”

Gamertell IndieCade Logo William is excited about indie games:

“I’m a big supporter of new ideas and innovation in the industry.  On that note, the Indiecade showcase really peaked my interest with its bold ideas and outside-the-box thinking.”

Joshua M is also excited about Nintendo’s upcoming game:

“The Wii Fitness board looks intriguing, especially if some developer besides Nintendo decides to make use of it.  This was really a quiet year in terms of announcements, though. Hopefully the quiet before a storm of good software. “

PJ‘s most looking forward to:

“There are so many great games to list but topping my curiosity list is the student project de Blob and the new, non-Sony Katamari .  Also, all the weird Wii peripherals were especially kewl including the WiiPad and Hulahoop. I love when game makers find a new way to use old controls. The Wii Zapper is a neat concept but really just a plastic holder for keeping your controllers in one position. I also want to get my hands on the redesigned PSP and see how much lighter, faster and longer the battery will last.”
