The misadventures of Nathan Drake were certainly something no PS3 fan should have missed. Uncharted: Drakes Fortune is still one of the defining titles in the PS3’s exclusive library with its gorgeous graphics, lighting effects and top notch voice acting. We all knew a sequel had to be in the works but up until now all details were merely speculation.

The January 2009 issue Game Informer features Uncharted 2: Among Thieves as its cover story with 10 pages of exclusive content about the game. The premise has Drake following the tracks of Marco Polo in what appears take place in an arctic landscape. This time around Drake will have some stealth tasks to deal with and we’ll be able to do some free climbing as well.

The first teaser trailer of Uncharted 2 has also been released, to get our fingers tingling for more.
