Important Importables
Jenni Lada brings us information about all of the groovy new gaming imports from around the world.

Thatgamecompany, the makers of flOw, Cloud and Flower have got your back this Valentine’s Day. If you accidentally forgot to get a gift for a friend, then check out Flower for the PS3. For today only, February 14, 2010, you can pick up the game for only $4.99. The critically acclaimed game normally costs $9.99.
Flower is about beauty and serenity. In each level you’ll hve to fly, explore and interact with the world, collecting flower petals. The game’s experience and play depends on you, as each player’s experience with Flower is different, because no two people play exactly the same way.
Flower has received a number of accolades in the past. For example, 1Up named it the best downloadable game shown at E3 2008, GamePro gave it a Best of E3 2008 gold award and G4’s XPlay said Flower had the best original soundtrack in its Best of 2009 awards. Seems like Flower would be a considerate, affordable and original gift for a special someone this year. (Certainly better than picking up last minute flowers or candy at Jewel or Walgreens!)
