Flower power will cost $10

Flower on PlayStation Network
Flower is almost here - can you feel it? The artsy, relaxing title will set you back $10 for seven levels. 1Up has the scoop, along with a few details from thatgamecompany co-founder Jenova Chen.

From the post:

“Flower will have seven levels, which Chen estimates will take first-time players approximately two to three hours to play through, unobsessively—a length deliberately chosen to mimic the film-watching experience, complete with the emotional ups, downs, and eventual climax. At the demo, all levels were present, except for the last. And as a bit of a teaser, Chen let us in on a twist: The final level won’t be a flower.”

I personally cannot wait for this game. I applaud Sony for encouraging htese kinds of more experimental/artful games on PSN. They may be in financial trouble, but they have the best system for selecting downloadable games for their platform (in my opinion). Just look at all the utter tripe on WiiWare - just saying.
