Europe gets extra special Crisis Core

Europeans are going to be very lucky when it comes to Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. Sure, it doesn’t have a set release date, with only a rumored Q2 2008 to comfort them, while Americans know it will be available March 25, 2008. However only the Europeans will get a special edition version of Crisis Core if they preorder. The special, European preorder version of Crisis Core will include a special case and a hardcover artbook. I am so seething with jealousy right now. If you saw me, there’d probably be steam or a cloud over my head or something.
The latest press release which revealed the fantastic news for our friends overseas also offered additional tidbits about the game. A new “Hard Mode” is going to be exclusively included in the overseas releases which was not available in the original Japanese version. It also reminded readers of all the good stuff concerning the game which was discussed in previous press releases.
Actually, I’m happy for our European gamer friends. Good for them. They’ve gotten the shaft way too many times when it comes to video games. Usually they have to wait weeks or even months to get a game North American audiences already have. Now they finally get something special just for them. They deserve it after what some video game publishers put them through. And I’m not just saying that because I want one of them to send me their Crisis Core artbook.
