Europe gets Crisis Core PSPs
I wonder if, in Square Enix’s eyes, North America has fallen from grace. That’s the only explanation I can find for both Europe and Japan receiving the special Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII PSP and game bundle. That’s right - the exclusive, elusive bundle that includes a silver PSP with Sephiroth, Zack and Cloud’s faces and the Crisis Core game will be available in Europe on June 20, 2008 for €189.99 ($295.58).
North America did not receive the bundle, and there have been no Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII bundle announcements for that region. Instead, North Americans can find solace in the God of War or Star Wars special PSP bundles that feature PSPs with engravings of Kratos or Darth Vader. Of course we all know the Sephiroth/Zack/Cloud PSP is cooler, but at least North Americans have something.
Japan received this special edition bundle on September 12, 2007. It was a limited edition deal, with a Buster Sword strap to attach to the PSP, the same PSP unit pictured above and a copy of Crisis Core that had a unique cover. Only 77,777 of the Crisis Core PSPs were created and released in Japan, and each one has its number engraved on the back of the unit.

What?!? NOOOOOOOOO!!!! I wanted a Crisis Core Bundle Pack. What were they thinking?
on June 11, 2008 at 04:52 PM - LINKI know, right? The PSP with Sephiroth, Zack and Cloud on the back is so cool. Like we need Darth Vader or *shudder* Kratos.
Watch - Europe will probably get the Star Ocean PSP bundle now too.
on June 11, 2008 at 05:16 PM - LINKWHAT? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO…. i ... i think i need to cry now.
on June 11, 2008 at 10:24 PM - LINKKnow what would make it worse? If Square Enix makes a special Kingdom Hearts or Dissidia PSP and bundle for Japan. XD
Then SE could pass over America 2 more times!
Seriously - they probably won’t release the blue Star Ocean PSP in Europe. I don’t think Star Ocean is popular enough for that.
