Important Importables
Jenni Lada brings us information about all of the groovy new gaming imports from around the world.

As you’ve probably guessed, the whole point of the game is to engage in player versus environment and player versus player activities as either a cat or mouse character. There will also be the MMOG standard quests and character customization options.
The game is first going to launch overseas in Asian markets in 2010, then will see a larger release. The interesting news is that the Tom and Jerry MMOG will use the Unity game engine and play on both Macs and PCs. So no Tom and Jerry loving player will be left out. The official logos released accompanying the press release also have the Cartoon Network logo on them.
While the idea sounds odd, I’ve heard of stranger backgrounds and set-ups for MMOs. Perhaps the Tom and Jerry MMOG will be similar to Disney’s ToonTown Online.
