Important Importables
Jenni Lada brings us information about all of the groovy new gaming imports from around the world.

The House M.D. game will allow players to solve five cases with House, Taub and Thirteen. The press release doesn’t mention if Foreman or Kutner will be appearing, but I sincerely hope both characters show up. The goal of the game is to do what the team does in the show, diagnose patients who have unknown and mysterious diseases. Since it will also be a DS release, I’m guessing there’ll be some sort of touch screen controls or medical puzzles implemented. Seems like it will be a more serious mystery game.
On the other hand, Murder, She Wrote sounds like a leisurely, casual romp. It’ll be a hidden object PC game with five new cases for Jessica Fletcher to solve. Players will go through hidden object puzzles to solve murders. It will also have some adventure game elements, as players discover the truth behind the five included stories.
On a personal note, I can’t look at Murder, She Wrote seriously ever again. Craig Ferguson’s gotten to me, and whenever I hear mention of that show I instantly think of his late night parody skits of the show, where he plays Angela Lansbury’s part. “Has there been a murder?”
