Important Importables
Jenni Lada brings us information about all of the groovy new gaming imports from around the world.

One of the sleeper titles Gamertell encountered at Consumer Electronics Show 2010 was arcade style racer Split Second.
In Europe, that release date is May 21, 2010, and the title is Split/Second Velocity.
The game features eight player support for online races and will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
The destructible environments aren’t just part of the course, they alter the course. One of the levels I played at CES took place in a naval yard and, once your car builds enough power, you can drop a ship onto the course and actually drive around inside it. The words “fully destructible environments” generally describe shooters or adventure games, not racers. So this game could be a surprise hit.
This game features eight player support for online races. Those look as if they’re going to crazy, frantic fun with helicopters dropping bombs on the track and cars tossing city buses at each other. At CES there was no firm date set, but now Split/Second is slated to come out May 18, 2010, in the United States.
