Discover Next Life on the PC
On November 16, 2007, the third-person, point-and-click adventure with photorealistic graphics titled Next Life (for PC) was shipped to stores and is now available for purchase. The game, created by Future Games and published by The Adventure Company, is a mysterious thriller with engaging storyline filled with puzzles that promises over 20 hours of play. Like Nibiru and Black Mirror, two other thrillers from Future Games, Next Life is designed to draw players in with it’s atmosphere and solid gameplay. It is available at all retailers for $29.99 and is rated Teen. Next Life will only run on PCs running Windows 2000, XP, or Vista.
In Next Life, players are cast as Adam, a 23-year-old man who was just in a horrible car accident. When he awakes, he is in a dark and mysterious new world asnd is not quite certain whether he is dead or alive. Adam must solve puzzles and explore this new world to find out exactly what happened, what this new place is, if any of it is real and if he might possibly escape.
Point-and-click games often don’t get the credit and attention they deserve. They may be dismissed or passed over in favor of more conventional action games. Often times these entries can have intriguing stories which deserve to be experienced. Next Life may not be as flashy as some other recent holiday releases, like Super Mario Galaxy, but it may be worth a look.
