Delicious and moist companion cube cake

by Jenni Lada on Feb 9, 2008 at 10:19 PM

Companion Cube cake

Cake is yummy. Cake shaped like a companion cube from Portal is yummy and funny. An Ars Technica forum user by the name of Neko posted a picture today (February 9, 2008) of a most excellent cake. This cake is not a lie, it is moist and it will be served immediately. You wouldn’t even have to take a test first. The companion cube cake has already received much love and rave reviews from other viewers on the forum.

For those who aren’t aware, the companion cube is an integral part of Portal, one of the best games released in 2007. A running theme in the game is that after test proceedings are done, cake will be served. If you visit Wikiquote, you can see a number of quotes from the game referring to the companion cube and the cake. (Be forewarned - there are spoilers in the quotes at Wikiquote.)

This cake is definitely love. It makes me hungry, and yet I don’t think I could bring myself to eat it. I especially love the hearts on the sides.
