Originally released on February 24, 2009, this game is the fourth installment in the Star Ocean compendium of games. However, this game does not pick up where Star Ocean: Til the End of Time (Playstation 2) left off. and instead brings you back in time to the beginning of humankind’s first departure into the great ocean of stars. Taking place in a post-apocalyptic Earth that can no longer sustain human life on its surface, humans are forced to explore the outer limits in order to find a new planet that they can inhabit.
