D3Publisher announces its E3 2007 lineup

Gamertell Dead Head Fred Box Shot D3Publisher of America announced today (July 11, 2007) its game lineup, which includes titles based on Cartoon Network’s Ben 10 and the anime series Shonen Jump Naruto.

  • Dark Sector (Q1 2008, PS3, Xbox 360)
  • NARUTO: Clash of Ninja Revolution (Fall 2007, Wii)
  • NARUTO: Path of the Ninja (Fall 2007, DS)
  • Dead Head Fred (August 28, 2007, PSP)
  • Ben 10: Protector of Earth (Fall 2007, Wii, DS, PSP)
  • Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire (Wii, Fall 2007)

Here are descriptions of each game:

Dark Sector
Gamers play as Hayden Tenno, an agent sent on a mission to an Eastern European city that hides a Cold War secret. Tenno is attacked and awakens with an infection that gives him super abilities. Dark Sector will be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in the first quarter of 2008.

Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution
This original Wii game will only be released in North America and is based on the Cartoon Network series. The storyline follows that of the TV series and includes new characters, environments and minigames designed for the Wii remote. Up to four gamers can play in nine modes. Naruto is due out Fall 2007.
Naruto: Path of the Ninja
This Naruto game will also come out this fall and is also based on the Cartoon Network series. This version, for the Nintendo DS, features six playable characters and time-based combat. Players train their ninja teams to learn more than 90 Jutsu techniques.

Dead Head Fred
This PSP game takes place in a 1940s-inspired alternate universe. Gamers play as private detective Fred Neuman, who is murdered and then brought back to life without a memory - or a head. Players collect and switch heads as they try to avenge Fred’s murder. Dead Head Fred will be released August 28.
Ben 10: Protector of the Earth
Another Cartoon Network-based game, Ben 10 gamers are the everyday-kid-turned-alien-hero Ben Tennyson. Ben uses the Omnitrix in his wrist to fight alien hereos from the TV show through challenges and puzzles. The game will be released this fall for the PS2, Nintendo DS and PSP.

Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire
Players of this third person action-adventure game hold the Wii Remote and Nunchuck and use their arms to move the dragon’s wings, arms, tail and fire. There are more than 20 environments in six worlds. Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire is anticipated for release this fall.
