Jenni Lada brings us information about all of the groovy new gaming imports from around the world.

Well, after its growing success in Europe, Commodore is back in the US and it recently opened a new headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. Commodore even hired Electronic Arts Bill Sims as vice president of North American sales.
Commodore gaming has been aiming to re-establish the brand of computers since Amiga filed for bankruptcy in 1994 and has continued to provide products and services for the PC and videogame market since it returned to the arena as Commodore Gaming in 2005. In July they celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Commodore 64 personal computer.
Commodore Gaming showcased its newest Gaming PC systems at the CeBit 2007 conference held in Hannover, Germany where gamers got a glimpse of the new gaming systems. Systems on display were created with the highest specifications and different levels of personalization from a starter system to a more extreme specification model which is optimized to the highest level.
These new gaming systems currently come in four different models, the Commodore Cg (basic system), Cgs, Cgx, Cxx (top of the line system). All systems use Microsoft Windows Vista 64 bit as its operating system iwith a DirectX 10 gaming interface. With system peripherals from the most respected gaming brands from the Raptor keyboard to the Logitech speaker systems and every Commodore system is customizable with its interchangeable casing panels.
I can’t wait for this system to hit the shelves here, I love systems I can customize to reflect my personality and already have my eye on the Ninja designed Commodore Cxx. I remember playing Giana Sisters and Donkey Kong on my trusty Commodore 64. In fact, I still play them once and awhile. On a whim, I dig the old system out of my attic along with my Atari 6400 system and play with them. I still love the old games and I expect playing on these gaming systems to be just as joyous and user friendly as the old C64 system was way back when.
