A new, comic book-inspired, free massive multiplayer online game is in the works. Fiction Fighters, a browser-based MMO, is being developed by CipSoft. In Fiction Fighters, players will create a comic book character and then engage in an interactive comic in their web browsers.
So far there’s nothing up on the official Fiction Fighters site, aside from a particularly striking logo. You can, however, sign up for an email newsletter so when the MMO launches, you’ll be the first to know.
Fiction Fighters could have some serious potential. Remember Comix Zone for the Sega Genesis? Imagine how cool Fiction Fighters could be if it had some of the graphics design and ideas included in that classic game.
