Major Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare changes on the horizon

by Pulkit Chandna on Dec 19, 2007 at 06:15 PM

Call of Duty 4
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has fared well since its November release and many gamers rate it very highly for its online multiplayer. However, the game’s developer Infinity Ward wants to further improve the online gaming experience. The changes are planned for later this month.

There are two set of changes planned for the game, playlist and patch changes respectively. The playlist changes will see new maps added to rotations, fresh variations in playlists and change of certain rules. There are numerous playlist changes that will certainly make the online experience a lot better.

There is no dearth of patch changes or updates either. The patch will focus on network optimization and introduce for the first time a Kill Cam view. The new camera view will be available for almost everything, from RPG’s to Air Srike Bombs, allowing players to witness the carnage from the camera angle provided by the pulverizing weapon behind the destruction. Another notable addition is host migration, which will allow the game to continue unhindered even if the host leaves the game.
