Important Importables
Jenni Lada brings us information about all of the groovy new gaming imports from around the world.

Beta testers are also getting a look at the new and improved Battle.net which will eventually collect World of Warcraft, Starcraft II and any future products into one streamlined service. Now it’s time to sit and pray for an invite. Though maybe we could all just compile a list of the things we’d do for a key and then pray that Blizzard sees it. Either way, there’s lots of prayer involved with receiving one.
I know I look forward to playing the sequel to everyone’s favorite 1998 real-time strategy game. I’m sure millions of Koreans (it is Koreans, right? I might be generalizing) are just as excited as I am. Probably more so.
According to the press release, Starcraft II is still looking to be released in the first half of 2010. So, even if you don’t receive one of those fabled invitations, don’t fret because it’s coming sooner than you might think. That doesn’t mean that the date won’t shift, it just means that it’s highly unlikely since it’s been given so close to the supposed release date.
Either way, be sure to check out the site and sign up for a chance to be in the beta. Who knows? Maybe there will be bonuses for playing in the early beta phases included for the retail version.
