Are you a fan of 8-bit artists and the distinctly retro game inspired chiptune music scene? Then you owe it to your ears to check out the third annual Blip Festival, to be held at the Bell House in Brooklyn this December 4-7. GameLife has the scoop on the event, which will feature plenty of musicians and visual artists doing their digital thing for your entertainment. According to the post, one day passes will go for $15, and festival passes will run you $50 ($60 with a DVD).

Check out the current line-up:

Musicians:

  • Animal Style [US]
  • Bit Shifter [US]
  • Ikuma [SG]
  • Jellica [UK]
  • Lissajou [US]
  • M-.-n [BE]
  • Meneo [ES]
  • Minusbaby [US]
  • Mr. Spastic [US]
  • NoteNdo [US]
  • Nullsleep [US]
  • Sidabitball [FR]
  • Starscream [US]
  • Syphus [UK]
  • Tonylight [IT]

Visual Artists:

  • Entter [ES]

My personal favorite of the list is definitely Nullsleep, mostly for the amazing 8-bit rendition of Kraftwerk’s ” The Model”. Wonderful stuff.
