If you like Bleach, you will like Sega’s new announcement. Bleach: Shattered Blade for the Wii and Bleach: Blade of Fate for the Nintendo DS will be coming to the US in Fall 2007, just in time for season two of the anime to hit Cartoon Network.
Bleach: Shattered Blade is a one-on-one fighting game featuring 32 characters with stylized, powerful attacks. The kicker is that you hold the WiiMote and Nunchuk like a sword and use gestures to pull off attacks. The game also features an exclusive single player storyline which is tailored for each character as they are unlocked.
On the DS side, Blade of Fate is a 2D fighting game featuring the ability to leap back and forth from the top screen to the bottom, avoiding enemies or getting in position. Also featured is the spirit card deck, which will provide special attacks, healing spells, and blocking moves for the player. Bleach: Blade of Fate will have 28 characters and, more importantly, a Wi-Fi enabled four player cooperative mode.
