Like all of the previous Bleach: Heat the Soul games, Bleach: Heat the Soul 5 is a fighting game filled with various game modes and characters from the series. It also will change things up a bit with a tag mode - players pick two characters to fight battles as and can switch off. It will also feature the largest character roster, including Soul Reaper, Vizard and Hollow characters as fighters. The full game will be available in Japan on May 15, 2008. The Japanese version will cost $48.90, and the Asia version will be $42.90. Since the PSP has no region protection, you can buy the cheaper version and know you’re not missing out.
If that seems a bit much for you, and you don’t mind losing out on characters, then perhaps you should look at one of the older PSP Bleach games. PSP the Best versions of entries one through three are available at fairly reasonable prices. Bleach: Heat the Soul is $34.90, Bleach: Heat the Soul 2 is $29.90 and Bleach: Heat the Soul 3 can be found for $24.90 or $29.90.
It’s always nice to have a new demo to play on your system. I still have the DJ Max Portable 2 and Patapon demos on mine, even though I’ve beaten the single song available in DJ Max Portable 2 and I bought the full version of Patapon. Its just a fun little extra to have saved on your memory stick.
