This year’s eCost Black Friday bargains are still only a tease, not revealing whether they are members-only deals and not even listing them all. The online-only sale begins at 12:01 a.m. CST on Friday, November 27, 2009.

On the eCost Black Friday Preview page you can see one game bargain, an Xbox 360 Pro system with 20 GB hard drive and a headset for $119.

The next best teaser deal is an 8 GB Third Generation iPhone 3G for $359

There’s also a 10 megappixel Olympus digital camera for $79, 1.6 GHz Intel Aton netbook for $219, 8 GB SDHC Data memory card, Mini remote-controlled helicopter for $12 and several other deals.

There’s also a free 6-foot HDMI cable (you usually have to mail in a rebate and pay shipping for the free deals on the site). eCost will often have free shipping if you spend more than a certain amount of money.

I have a love-hate relationship with eCost’s sales. For years I loved the site’s bargains and cheap shipping. The past coup;e years, however, the site has made the deals more attractive but the potential of buying them less possible.

Last year (2008) the site started randomizing the best deals. Then, when that became uber popular, the site launched membership program so that only paying members can get the really great deals.

It’s still unclear as to whether or not you need to be an eCost paid member or what the shipping will be. The site recently added PayPal as a payment option, which is nice.
