Get your wallets ready, folks. Capcom announced Tuesday (March 18, 2008) the price for Bionic Commando: Rearmed, the game’s release month and the minimum and recommended requirements for the PC version.
Keep toiling in those mines, fellow gamers - you’ll need to work long and hard to conjure up the whopping $10 needed to play the XBox 360 and Playstation3 versions of this remade relic from the ‘80s NES era. As for the PC iteration, that’s still to be determined, as it may contain content not included with its console brethren. Whatever the case, it definitely will be distributed through what Capcom calls “many digital distribution outlets” for that platform, Xbox Live and the Playstation Store starting sometime in May.
Capcom confirmed earlier that no version will be gimped, since Microsoft has allowed Capcom to go over the usual maximum space requirement for Xbox Live Arcade offerings (and for those following the news, this also means that Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is also in the clear as far as that goes, so everybody wins).
So are y’all feeling nice and positive? Great. Now it’s time to depress the crap out of the lot of you with Rearmed‘s PC system requirements.
