Best Buy‘s 2008 Cyber Monday sales are up. They aren’t as monumental as the Black Friday 2008 sales, but there are still a few good game deals to be had. It may be a good chance to get some game gifts. Most of the deals involve a cheaper price on a new release, or a buy one game, get another game at a reduced price. So you may want to check it out.

The majority of the sales are on PS3, Xbox 360 and DS games. There are some games from other systems to spice things up though. It also seems like at least half the sale games are “family friendly” or geared towards a younger audience, so if you have a young gamer who is wanting a hot title, this could be your chance. Be quick though, as quite a few deals are already sold out online.

Game Sales

• All Guitar Hero Aerosmith bundles are $10 off the normal price. So the Wii, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS2 bundles with one guitar are $49.99, and the PS2 two guitar bundle is $69.99.
• If you purchase Resistance 2 (PS3) at $59.99, you can get Resistance: Fall of Man (PS3) for $9.99.
• Halo 3 (Xbox 360) is $37.99.
• The Gears of War two-disc edition (Xbox 360) was $19.99, however as of 11:47pm CST on November 30, 2008, the Best Buy website listed the item as “sold out online”.
• If you buy Gears of War 2 (Xbox 360) for $59.99, you get a free 3 month subscription to Xbox Live Gold.
• My Sims Kingdom (DS) was $14.99, however as of 11:47pm CST on November 30, 2008, the Best Buy website listed the item as “sold out online”.
• Rock Band (PS2) special edition is $84.99.
• Pure (PS3, Xbox 360) is $39.99.
• If you buy High School Musical 3: Senior Year (DS) for $29.99, you can get either High School Musical: Makin’ the Cut (DS) or High School Musical 2: Work This Out (DS) for $9.99.
• If you buy a select Xbox 360 games at the full price (Pure, High School Musical 3: Senior Year Dance with dance pad, Bolt or Disney Sing It with mic), you get a $10 Best Buy gift card.
• Dancing with the Stars: We Dance (Wii) was $29.99, however as of 11:47pm CST on November 30, 2008, the Best Buy website listed the item as “sold out online”.
• NPPL Championship Paintball 2009 (PS3, Xbox 360) is $29.99. However as of 11:47pm CST on November 30, 2008, the Best Buy website listed the Xbox 360 version as “sold out online”.
