Oh how the mighty have fallen. Halo 3 may have been a big thing back when it came out in September 2007, but five months has clearly made a big difference. The latest Shop Goodwill auction lots prove this point, with brand new copies of the game are starting at $3.00.

These are brand new, standard editions of the popular sci-fi Xbox 360 game. While there are a total of seven factory sealed Halo 3 games up for auction on the site, only two are still at the $3 point. The others have bids ranging from $7  to $14.44.

If you, by some miracle, missed out on Halo 3 the first time around, this could be a great opportunity to pick up a copy. Remember, buying from Shop Goodwill gives money to Goodwill’s charity organization. That way you can feel extra good when wiping out the alien menace.
